The Eternal Swamp Cult, or Swamp Cult as the community has called them, is an ecoterrorist organization primarily hiding in the swamps where the mission Bog Business takes place, though some of their number have been sighted in Transnistria during Miner's Miracle, and at least one is hiding in one of the clubs in Neuron Activator. Though many of them wield Cult of Order (police) equipment like the New Safety M62 and Riot Pacifier, one of their most important symbols is the Mowzer SP99 sniper rifle, which swamp cultists claim to be receiving divine visions from.
The presence of crashed Cult of Order cars in the their home swamp as well as their use of police weaponry suggests that the cultists may once have been police officers themselves, or stole their equipment from the police.
The Swamp Cultist camp has bioslaves and the undead locked in a pen, for reasons not apparent.
The Swamp Cult's leader is Wild Pig. His death is predicted to lead the Eternal Swamp Cult into devolving into endless infighting and bickering.
Variants[]
Swamp Cultist[]
Swamp Cultists wear red balaclavas, muddy brown fatigues, and muddy caps. Behaviorally they are identical to Revolver Cops.
Swamp Cultists make a guest appearance in the obstacle course to the Holy Scope in Archon Grid, as well as the chamber right before the boss chamber.
Swamp Grunt[]
In the chamber of Bog Business which leads to Miner's Miracle there's a gunman wielding a BN-99. His skin is a muddy brown texture which covers him from head to toe.
The Swamp Grunt seems to be a reskin of the Darkworld Grunt.
Swamp Gasser[]
Swamp Gassers are variants without the cap, wearing baggier pants, and wielding a Riot Pacifier. This weapon makes them a potentially very deadly foe.
Aside from guarding the swamp and moonlighting at Club Echo, Swamp Gassers make a guest appearance in the obstacle course to the Holy Scope in Archon Grid. They also show up in the secret area on the road to the ZKZ Transactional Rifle in the Hope Eradicated section of the Cruelty Squad Headquarters.
Swamp Sniper[]
Swamp Snipers use the Mowzer SP99 to attack the player from afar. They mostly stand utterly stationary, firing from an established location.
Their heads looks similar to a Bioslave's.
Swamp Snipers show up in the sewage area of Casino Catastrophe, the farm of Darkworld, and the mines in Miner's Miracle.

- This is one of the few organizations in Cruelty Squad that is anti-corporate.
- The Swamp Cultists wear a red mask under olive drab caps. the balaclavas are slightly ripped, and have a crooked smile. Along with the Swamp Cult's fascination with sniper rifles, and general guerilla warfare, this alludes to legendary Finnish sniper Simo Hayha.
