Necromechs (called "Killerbots" in the map files) are towering armored skeleton mechs wielding twin AMG4s. It has large police flak jacket. It's generally the first armored enemy the player will encounter in the game.
Necromechs are noisy, persistent enemies once alarmed. Their long strides give them a lot of speed to catch up with the player enough to begin unloading health-shredding armor-piercing rounds at an inescapable rate.
Because Necromechs are heavily armored, if the player can deliver shots from an AMG4 with enough distance to prevent alarming the Necromech, they can deal damage until the armor is broken. Once a Necromech begins bleeding it won't survive many more attacks.
Their offhand AMG4 is purely decorative - if the player disarms them of the one in their right hand they will be unable to fire.
Godmech[]
Godmechs are headless variants of the Necromech which wield Riot Pacifiers instead of AMG4s.
Aside from two standard Necromechs wearing Godmech attire in Trauma Loop, there are only two true Godmechs in the game:
- The first Godmech is in an optional room in the Hope Eradicated section of Cruelty Squad Headquarters where he guards the Abominator implant.
- The second Godmech is in Trauma Loop just beneath the orb which ends the game. This Godmech only appears on Hope Eradicated difficulty. This Godmech is unique in that it causes the player's aim to sway when it has line of sight like a Psycho.
