Dogs are quadrupedal creatures with lamprey-like maws coming from a head composed of four mandibles. It has a leathery brown and green skin.
Dogs are often keeping guard in populated areas and attack on sight. They run at a swift pace and stop briefly before attacking once they reach the player. They take a decent amount of gunfire to take down and aren't slowed down until they die.
Presumably they aren't actual dogs, seeing as how they drop human organs and body parts when gibbed, but that's just speculation.
Marble Dog[]
The Marble Dog is a unique variant of the Dog which appears at the end of the radioactive hallway in Cruelty Squad Headquarters. His high aggression, speed, and hardy constitution make him a major obstacle and generally the first enemy to engage the player on the mission. Because of where he's located, the marble dog can only be engaged on Hope Eradicated difficulty.
